Definition
In phasing analysis, troughs of each nominal cycle are marked with diamond symbols below the bar low.
| Rule | Meaning |

| One diamond | Trough of one specific cycle |
| Stack of diamonds | Synchronized troughs of multiple cycles |
| Top diamond in stack | Longer cycle |
| Bottom diamond | Shorter cycle |
