The CycleSic chart dock contains selection, lines, shapes, Fibonacci, text, measurements and position tools. Check the active icon before using the chart: the same drag can pan the view or create an object.
Transparency — A drawing represents the user's hypothesis. It is not a market signal generated or validated by CycleSic.
Available tool groups
The verified dock includes selection and cursor modes; line, ray, horizontal and vertical line; channel; Fibonacci retracement and extension; -1 / 0 / +1 targets; rectangle, ellipse, circle, triangle and three-point curve; image and text; long and short position; anchored VWAP; fixed and anchored volume profile; X, Y and box measurement; ruler, magnet, undo, redo and delete.
Draw a horizontal line
- Open Price or another view with a clear chart.
- Choose Horizontal line in the dock.
- Point to the required level and click or tap.
- Return to Select / navigate to avoid unintended lines.
Expected result: a line crosses the chart at the selected value and becomes an editable object.
Lines, channels and Fibonacci
Choose the tool, set the first anchor, set the second and complete any additional anchors. Return to selection before editing. A ray continues beyond its second point; a simple line is defined by its endpoints. A channel needs enough anchors for direction and width.
For Fibonacci retracement or extension, place anchors in the order required by the structure you are measuring and check orientation. Displayed ratios are geometric references, not guaranteed support, resistance or targets.
Measurements and position tools
X measures time distance, Y measures values, box combines time and value, and the ruler reads between two points. Compare cases using the same timeframe and scale.
Long and short position tools visually organise entry, risk and objective. They do not send orders and do not account automatically for every size, fee, slippage or account constraint.
Edit or remove an object
Return to selection, select the object, drag an anchor or open its style settings, and use undo or redo as needed. Confirm the selected object before deleting. Save a layout or snapshot before extensive changes.
If it fails
- The chart pans when navigation is active rather than a drawing tool.
- Return to selection if multiple objects are created accidentally.
- Zoom in before trying to capture a small anchor.
- Recheck time anchors after changing timeframe.
- On mobile, run the gesture tutorial and use one tool at a time.
