What is reputation in Assemblea?
Reputation summarises a participant's history in Sessions the system could resolve. Reliability summarises a historical result for the displayed sample or collective reading. Both look backward; neither guarantees the next outcome.
Check four things: date and period, sample, resolved or provisional state, and whether market and question are comparable.
Proprietary boundary — This manual explains observable meaning, not formulas, weights, thresholds or internal controls. Rules may change; the current interface and product documentation prevail.
Personal reputation helps study continuity, not label someone as infallible. Few Sessions, one market regime or changes in conditions weaken comparisons. A strong history can still be followed by errors.
Collective reliability only describes its measured perimeter. It is not automatically a calibrated probability and excludes non-participants. Never convert it directly into capital or leverage.
If participants or rankings are shown, check sample age and number of resolved cases. Positions may change as new Sessions resolve or published product rules evolve.
