In simple terms
“I got liquidated” means that a broker, exchange, or its risk system closed or reduced a leveraged position because the collateral was no longer sufficient under the applicable rules.
The phrase is common in futures, CFDs, and crypto markets. See Liquidation in trading for the term and Liquidation for the full mechanism.
What it does not mean
It does not mean that “the market” identified and personally targeted the trader. Price may have reached a threshold and the system may have applied an automatic or contractual rule. The indicated threshold does not guarantee the final execution price, especially in a fast-moving market.
Reconstructing the event requires the contract, margin level, order log, fees, and venue rules.
